Senator Mike Goschka Endorses Tim Kelly for State Representative
Popular Former Legislator Joins Growing Ranks of Kelly Supporters
SAGINAW TOWNSHIP, MI – Former State Senator Mike Goschka announced today his endorsement and support for Saginaw County Commissioner and candidate for State Representative Tim Kelly.
“Tim has been consistent in defending taxpayers and promoting a pro-growth agenda,” said Goschka. “I am fully confident he will take his strong voice and leadership to Lansing on our behalf. With his strong principles and vast experience, Tim has my full endorsement.”
Mike Goschka served Saginaw County as State Representative from 1993 to 1999 and as State Senator from 1999 to 2007. He joins current State Senator Roger Kahn in backing Kelly, along with Saginaw County Commissioners Pat Wurtzel of Thomas Township and Kirk Kilpatrick of Saginaw Township.
“It is an honor to have Senator Goschka’s endorsement,” said Kelly. “Not only will his support be of great help in my campaign, his unwavering dedication to the principles of smaller government and conservative values is an example I have always admired.”
In the 2006 primary, Kelly earned 48 percent of the vote, finishing just 4 points (less than 500 votes) behind future State Representative Ken Horn who is now term limited. For more information about Tim Kelly and his conservative, pro-jobs agenda, please visit www.ElectTimKelly.com.
